Throwback to a landlord representation assignment I recently completed with one of my colleagues, Harrison Glauber. My clients have owned a multitenant center located at 5905 New Cut Rd, Louisville, KY 40214, for many years, and I’ve helped them secure tenants in the past.

When their largest space, roughly 4,600 square feet, became available, they contacted me to help identify a new tenant. Harrison and I brainstormed potential uses for the space and created a strategic plan to canvas businesses that would be a good fit.

We dedicated time to driving around town, walking into businesses to introduce ourselves and inform them about the available space within the center. Additionally, Harrison had developed a relationship with a local business owner and shared information about the vacancy with him.

After viewing the space, Harrison’s contact expressed great interest, and we began lease negotiations. Shortly thereafter, we reached an attractive agreement for all parties, and the lease was fully executed.

We’re excited to see the store open soon and will likely be regular patrons! This example highlights how a well-connected and experienced team can significantly speed up leasing your vacant space.
